Spring Into Summer
Put on your walking shoes this May and discover London's hidden gems during Walk London's Spring into Summer walk weekend! With over 30 free guided walks taking in London's parks, woodlands, waterways and open spaces as well as lesser known routes, it's a great way to get out and about, discover what's on your doorstep and get away from the traffic and bustle of the city for a few hours.

Why take part? Whatever your age and interests, Walk London's guided walks are the perfect way to explore and appreciate London. Just like taking the train, walking is a greener way of getting from A to B and has been shown to lower stress stress and improve your overall physical health and wellbeing .

The Routes
The seven top walking routes in London cover large over 390 miles and attract over 7 million walkers every year. The routes are promoted in relevant sections on the Walk London website. They include:

London Loop = 152 miles / 245 km
Capital Ring = 78 miles / 126 km
Lea Valley Walk = 18 miles / 29 km
Thames Path = 40 miles / 64 km
Green Chain Walk = 50 miles / 80 km
Jubilee Walkway = 15 miles / 24 km
Jubilee Greenway = 37 miles / 60 km
