As the lights go up, the temperature goes down and every shop in the country competes to see who can play the loudest version of Fairytale of New York, we wanted to take a moment to wish you a very merry Christmas from all of us here at Raileasy.
This time of year has a way of pulling everyone in a hundred different directions. Some people are racing home for long-awaited reunions. Others are sneaking off for a quiet escape before the calendar resets. Plenty are doing the festive relay between relatives. And a brave few are simply trying to make it through December with their sanity and their luggage still intact.

It’s been a busy year across the rail network, and we’re incredibly grateful to every person who trusted us to get them from A to B without the usual faff. Behind the scenes our team has been working hard to keep your searches fast, your options clear and your fares as low as we can possibly get them. If we’ve helped you dodge one pricey ticket, one stressful connection or one logistical meltdown this year, then we’ve done our job.
As we head into the festive break, here’s what we wish for you:
- A seat when you need one.
- A carriage that’s not stuck at either tropical or arctic settings.
- One perfect cup of station coffee.
- A Railcard discount that surprises you in a good way.
And at least one full day dedicated to doing absolutely nothing.
