Little adventures make big memories. With our Kids for a Quid, up to four children, aged 5-15, can travel for £1 return each with every paying adult.
Each Kids for a Quid ticket costs £1 return, so if four children were travelling it would cost £4 return.
Children travelling with Kids for a Quid must be accompanied by a paying adult. Children are NOT permitted to travel alone with a Kids for a Quid ticket.
Kids can get free child admission to some of Scotland’s top attractions when they show their Kids for a Quid ticket. For more details see www.scotrail.co.uk/kids

Discounts
No. On some short distance flows, the child fare will be less than £1 and in these instances the child fare should be issued instead of Kids for a Quid.
The adult travelling with the child can use Railcard discounts for their ticket. However, there is no further discount for the Kids for a Quid ticket.
