The £2 return ticket is only valid when travelling with an adult in Standard Class at Off-Peak times, who has an Anytime, Off-Peak, Super Off-Peak return ticket or a Flexi Season Ticket, Season Ticket, or other travel pass valid for that return journey.

The Off-Peak times are determined by the time-of-day restrictions applicable to the adult Standard Class Off-Peak Day Return ticket for that particular journey.

This applies whether the adult holds an Anytime return ticket, Flexi Season Ticket, Season Ticket, or other travel pass that doesn't have any time restrictions.

Where the adult passenger has a Super Off-Peak return ticket, the £2 ticket has the same time restrictions as the adults ticket.

The £2 return ticket is only valid for travel in Standard Class accommodation, even if the adult has a valid First Class return ticket.
