Top Savings Tips

Book Early

Cheap train tickets are available up to 12 weeks in advance.

Buy a Digital Railcard

If you're eligible, you can save up to a third (or more) when you buy a Digital Railcard and use it to discount your rail trips.

Avoid Travelling in Rush Hour

Off-peak train tickets are cheaper! Try searching earlier or later in the day to find less busy services.

Split Your Train Tickets

Split ticketing, where the journey is broken down into smaller sections, could save you a small fortune on the cost of train travel.

Choose Your Retailer Wisely

Not all retailers offer the same great-value splits or best-in-class customer service. Pick an experienced retailer that will have your back if anything goes wrong, and knows how to save you the most money.
